Things on my Desk: USB Hub Edition

Looking around my desk, probably one of my favorite often ignored accessory is my trusty Rolodex USB Hub. Purchased from a local discount store for around 3.99, this little device has been ever so helpful for creating that perfect desk arrangement.
It’s non obtrusive design includes a silver body, with the main components being a quite boring black. The device includes one electrical outlet, and two usb ports. On the right of the top usb port, includes a tiny but bright blue LED. So some might ask, why would one write a blog post. Some devices though not glitzy or in the spotlight, deserve some more credit. Although its function is mundane, it works perfectly in preventing cable clutter along my Macbook Pro. It conveniently places an electrical outlet on my desk for quick charging of a miscellaneous device that don’t usually have a permanent residence on my power block.
So kudos for you Rolodex. Although I believed you were out of business due to the PDA and iPhone revolution, your office organization device works like a charm. It deserves some credit in making my daily computing easier and who doesn’t like that?
